Join Our Production Team

Production Technologies Pty Ltd is looking for a Junior to Mid-Level AV Technician to join our team.

We are seeking someone who is enthusiastic about the live events and audio-visual industry, enjoys working as part of a team, and is keen to develop their technical skills across a broad range of AV disciplines.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build their skills and experience within a professional live production environment.

About the Role

Working across a variety of live events and production environments, you will be involved in the preparation, installation, operation and pack-down of AV equipment.

Some knowledge across a range of AV disciplines would be advantageous, including:
Audio systems and operation
Video and display systems
Lighting
Rigging and staging
Signal distribution and cabling
Equipment preparation and testing
Live event production
Basic troubleshooting and fault finding

You don't need to be an expert in every discipline — a willingness to learn and develop across all areas of AV is highly valued.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:
Enthusiastic about audio-visual technology and live events
Reliable, punctual and well presented
Comfortable working in a team setting




Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
Physically capable of handling AV equipment and working on event sites
Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and public holidays when required
A good communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
Keen to learn and develop their technical skills

Essential Requirements
Current Australian Driver's Licence
Australian Permanent Residency
Willingness to work flexible schedule as required by the live events industry
