Pounds + Ounces is a vibrant café located in the Royal Hobart Hospital, known for specialty coffee and fresh, wholesome food made in house.

We’re seeking an experienced barista who is passionate about quality coffee and thrives in a fast paced setting. This is a casual role with full time hours available.

About the role:
Lead coffee quality control on our La Marzocco PB ABR
Prepare exceptional espresso and specialty beverage recipes
Provide warm, welcoming service to all customers
Support a busy café team with reliability and enthusiasm

What we’re looking for:
Proven barista experience with solid knowledge of specialty coffee
Confidence in fast-paced service environments
Good latte art skills (preferred)
A genuine passion for coffee, people, and great hospitality
