The Role
This is a Senior Collections Officer appointment with end to end ownership of an arrears portfolio within a financial services lending environment. You will engage customers with professionalism and empathy, secure sustainable repayment outcomes, and be accountable for portfolio performance.
Manage an arrears portfolio through structured customer engagement across multiple channels
Lead sensitive negotiations to agree sustainable repayment arrangements
Maintain accurate case documentation to support sound, audit ready decision making
Exercise commercial judgment on recovery strategy, including escalation where required
Partner with internal stakeholders and external parties on complex matters
Support secured asset recovery activity, including valuation input and vendor coordination
Contribute to process improvement and deliver against agreed performance measures




Build productive relationships with partner contacts on portfolio related issues

The Candidate
You will be an accomplished collections professional with substantial experience managing arrears in a financial services or Accounts Receivable environment. You communicate with clarity and composure, and you take ownership of outcomes.
3 to 5+ years collections and arrears experience within financial services or commercial accounts receivable
Demonstrated success negotiating repayment outcomes on challenging accounts
Excellent written and verbal English communication
Organised, resilient and accountable for portfolio performance
Collaborative approach with internal teams and external stakeholders

Remuneration and Advantages
$85,000 base + bonus
