Are you a vet nurse who loves dogs and problem-solving, but could do without the early starts, weekend shifts, and the bit where you go home wrecked?

The job

You’ll be a specialist within our customer service team, bringing expertise and a genuine passion for dog health and nutrition. You’ll be helping customers whose dogs are on the sensitive side, needing some extra guidance about why Scratch may/may not be right for them.

The kind of things you'll be working on
Supporting current customers via email, live chat and phone with questions about their dog’s health, and whether Scratch is right for them
Answering questions that might come up while transitioning from their old food
Building feeding and transition plans for dogs who need more than the standard calculator
Helping build the health and nutrition reference material our team works from,



and keeping it up to date, in line with current research

The right person will be
A qualified vet nurse (Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent) with at least 2 years in practice
A strong interest in canine nutrition and knowledge of common questions that come up for dog owners e.g. skin, guts, allergies, weight, seniors and puppies
A outstanding communicator - to customers who are desperate for a solution to ongoing food allergies; and internally within the CS team and alongside our in-house vet, Dr. Sam
Calm and confident with customers who might be upset, sceptical, or have already decided the food is the problem
A dog person (we'd be worried otherwise)

Nice to have: additional qualifications in dog nutrition, experience researching and writing for pet owners, time spent outside clinical practice.

Requirements
Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent
Minimum 2 years in veterinary practice
Australia-based only
