Receptionist – Crest Medical Centre (Pialba, Hervey Bay)

Crest Medical Centre is currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist, working at our Pialba (Hervey Bay) clinic, opening soon.

Position Overview

As a Receptionist at Crest Medical Centre, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the clinic. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a professional, welcoming, and supportive experience at all times.

Key Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors with a warm and qualified demeanour
Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
Answer phone calls and respond to enquiries in a courteous and professional manner
Assist with patient registrations, Medicare and insurance verification, and payment processing
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area




Provide administrative support to doctors and clinical staff as required

Availability

You must be available to work rostered shifts between Monday to Friday, with possible weekend shifts as required.

Requirements
Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Robust interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient-focused approach
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with office systems
Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy clinical environment
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced healthcare setting
