Recent Business Development Manager - Multi-Family / National Sales

My client is seeking a dynamic National New Business Development Manager to join their growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities presenting branded solutions. Work at the national / corporate level with multi-family housing and builder markets establishing relationships and partnerships. The National New Business Development Manager will focus on driving growth and evolving deals.

Responsibilities:

Develop strategic plans grow and expand national accounts across builder's and multi-housing markets
n
Identify and develop new business opportunities with a focus on growth, retention and partnership
n
Drive deep and strategic relationships within key accounts to deliver exceptional value
n
Support brand activation projects; working with internal teams and client stakeholders identifying opportunities to integrate organization's brands
n
Create strategies to cross-sell and upsell available products/services
n
Pitch and present branded solutions to top-tier prospects (e.g. developers, builders)
n




Understand and navigate specification-based sales processes in architectural and commercial design contexts
n
Represent branded product capabilities in strategic outreach and industry engagements
n

Requirements:

n

n
Bachelor's Degree required
n
Min. 5+ years of experience in National Sales, developing and closing new business within multi-family and/or builder markets required
n
Selling products to multi-family markets within architecture, construction, building materials/products, housing and/or property development
n
Brand activation and/or brand-driven sales experience a plus
n
Robust understanding of specification processes and working with architects/designers
n
Excellent communication and presentation skills
n
Highly motivated, self-starter attitude with robust strategic thinking
n
Ability to travel approx. 50%
