An exciting prospect has come up for a full time Mechanical Engineer to join a close knit and cooperative consultancy here in Melbourne.
About the role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will coordinate and administration construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are implemented in accordance with plans, designs and specifications, interpret designs for implementation in projects, contribute to improvements to existing designs, monitor progress for adherence to program and attend site meetings.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Designing and documenting mechanical (HVAC), hydraulics, and fire protection systems for a range of building types.
Collaborating with architects, clients, and fellow consultants to develop coordinated, efficient designs.
Preparing detailed technical specifications and reports.
Attending project and client meetings, representing the consultancy with professionalism and confidence.
Contributing to a culture of knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and mutual respect.
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering
Qualified Engineer or working towards
Must be a passionate engineer
Minimum 5 years' Australian engineering experience
Proficient in Revit
Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
