Functional Automation Tester – Dynamics 365 & Power Platform

Really Awesome People is seeking experienced Functional Automation Testers to support the Australian Maritime Safety Authority’s digital transformation program.

You will join our clients Testing Practice and work across the myAMSA portal program, helping deliver and expand digital maritime regulatory services.

This is not a purely manual testing role. We are looking for testers who can design, build and maintain automated regression tests across both user interfaces and APIs—and integrate those tests into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

The role will involve:
Testing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications, including Power Pages, Power Apps and Dataverse
Designing and executing functional, integration, system, regression and UAT activities
Building and maintaining automated UI tests using Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro or similar tools
Automating API and integration testing using Postman/Newman, REST Assured or Playwright




Integrating automated tests into Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
Managing defects, test evidence and reporting
Working across multiple concurrent projects and changing priorities To be competitive, you should offer:
Robust Dynamics 365 or Power Platform testing experience
Demonstrated UI and API test automation capability
Experience with Azure DevOps, VS Code and source control
Experience working in Agile multidisciplinary delivery teams
The ability to work independently and become productive quickly
Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance

Existing Baseline clearance and Canberra availability will be highly regarded. Exceptional interstate candidates may be considered, although Canberra is strongly preferred.
