Wok Chef – Malaysian / Asian Cuisine
We are looking for an experienced Wok Chef to join our kitchen team at Canai in Prahran.
The role involves high-volume wok cooking, including fried rice, noodles, stir-fries and Malaysian/Asian dishes, while maintaining consistency, speed and presentation during busy service.
Key requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience in wok cooking preferred
Confident working with high-heat commercial wok burners
Strong understanding of Asian/Malaysian cooking techniques
Able to work efficiently during busy service
Positive knife skills and food preparation knowledge
Maintain consistent taste, portioning and presentation
Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Available for evening and weekend shifts
We are looking for someone who is rapid, organised and passionate about producing consistently valuable food.
