WOK CHEFS WANTED — JOIN THE MI GORENG MAFIA

Mi Goreng Mafia is getting ready to fire up the woks — and we’re looking for TWO seriously skilled chefs to join the crew.

This isn’t your average kitchen.

We’re building a bold Indonesian/Asian street-food concept centred around Mi Goreng, Nasi Goreng, dumplings and big wok flavours — quick, fresh and cooked with serious heat.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR 2 CHEFS

You need to be CONFIDENT ON A WOK.

We’re looking for chefs who have:

Strong wok cooking skills and excellent heat control

Experience with Indonesian and/or Asian cuisine

Ability to produce authentic Mi Goreng & Nasi Goreng

Understanding of wok hei, seasoning, sauces and flavour balance

Ability to cook quickly without sacrificing quality

Experience working during busy, high-volume service

Robust food preparation and knife skills

Excellent hygiene and kitchen organisation

Ability to stay calm when the orders start flying

Pride in every dish that leaves the kitchen





Experience with Indonesian street food, Chinese wok cooking, Malaysian, Singaporean or Southeast Asian cuisine will be highly regarded.

WHO WE WANT

We don’t just want someone who can follow a recipe.

We want chefs who understand the wok.

Someone who knows when the heat is right, when the sauce needs adjusting, how to get flavour into every noodle and every grain of rice — and can reproduce that same quality again and again during a busy service.

You’ll be joining a recent brand from the beginning, with the opportunity to grow as Mi Goreng Mafia grows.
