About the role

These are hands-on positions working in a busy wholesale nursery setting. Two roles are available: Dispatch Dock Team Member and Production Team Member.

Key responsibilities

Dispatch Dock Team Member
Preparing orders for dispatch
Loading and unloading trucks
Moving and organising plants
Checking orders and ensuring they are ready to go
Working closely with our production and sales teams

Production Team Member:
General nursery production work
Pruning, potting and bedding down plants
Plant maintenance
Weeding
Propagation
General nursery duties as required
Working as part of a team to keep production moving efficiently

About you
Reliable and punctual
Hardworking and physically fit
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Able to work at a good pace and take pride in their work
Happy working as part of a team
Willing to learn
Safety-conscious
Able to follow instructions and take responsibility for their work
Positive and respectful towards their workmates




Comfortable with the physical nature of nursery work including lifting and carrying plants and materials, bending, pushing and pulling, and being on your feet for much of the day
