Helping Hands is an ever evolving centre that provides support from a multidisciplinary team including OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Youth programs and early intervention. We work directly with families and outside specialists to ensure that we are providing the best and most up to date therapy possible. We place emphasis on individuality, diversity and support for clients AND staff.
Tasks & responsibilities
Work with a multidisciplinary team including speech pathologists, psychologists, early intervention specialists and out reach program specialists.
Provide one on one speech pathology assessment and intervention with individuals age 2 to 18.
Utilise expertise to develop and support individual clients within social groups.
Provide client/family services to support individual goals.
Liaise with skilled services attached to schools, kinders, day care centres.
Support and provide feedback for early intervention support staff.
