Community Funerals is seeking reliable and caring After-Hours Transfer Staff to join our team on a casual, on-call basis. This important role involves the respectful transfer of deceased persons from homes, hospitals, aged care facilities, and other locations. Please note you need to live within a 20km range of Mossman, candidates who live outside of this vicinity are not eligible.

About the Role

• Respond to after-hours transfer requests.

• Undertake the dignified transfer of deceased persons.

• Work as part of a two-person team.

• Complete relevant documentation accurately.

• Maintain presentation and cleanliness of company vehicles and equipment.

• Provide compassionate and qualified service at all times.

About You

• Hold a current driver's licence.

• Be physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.

• Be available to participate in an on-call roster, including nights and weekends.





• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Be reliable, respectful, and able to maintain confidentiality.

• Previous experience in healthcare, emergency services, aged care, disability support, security, transport, or funeral services will be highly regarded but is not essential.
