About the role
Edutemps is seeking an Electrotechnology Trainer and Assessor for a fly-in fly-out chance with an established education provider in Darwin.
Bring your electrical or refrigeration and air conditioning experience into the classroom and workshop, helping students build the technical knowledge and practical skills needed in their trade. You will be based on site for a minimum of two weeks, with flights, accommodation and car hire covered.
Your responsibilities
Deliver electrotechnology training and assessment in classrooms, workshops and workplace settings.
Help students connect technical theory with practical trade applications.
Support students from a range of backgrounds and with different learning needs.
Maintain accurate training and assessment records.
Deliver training in line with the Electrotechnology Training Package and relevant quality standards.
Promote safe working practices and an inclusive learning setting.
About you
A trade qualification in Electrical and/or Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, with relevant post-trade industry experience.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, TAE40116 or equivalent, or the ability to obtain the qualification within an agreed timeframe.
Experience delivering training in a workplace or education setting.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to work with culturally diverse students.
A sound understanding of workplace health and safety and equal chance principles.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and relevant software.
The ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Appointment is subject to a satisfactory National Criminal History Check and a valid Northern Territory Working with Children clearance.
