Role Description This is a full time, on-site Tiler role based in Perth, WA. The Tiler will prepare and level surfaces, lay tiles according to design plans, and cut and shape tiles to fit around fixtures and edges. Daily tasks include mixing and applying adhesives and grout, ensuring accurate spacing and alignment, and performing finishing work such as cleaning and sealing tiled areas.

The role also involves reading and interpreting drawings, collaborating with other trades on-site, adhering to safety policies, and maintaining tools and equipment in valuable working order.



The Tiler will assist in material planning, quality checks, and may provide input on tile selection and layout to achieve the required aesthetic and functional outcomes.

Qualifications
Strong tiling skills, including experience with general wall and floor tiling and accurate surface preparation.
Capability working with ceramic tiles, including cutting, laying, and finishing to a high standard.
Experience with flooring applications, ensuring level installations and durable finishes.
Ability to install mosaics and marble tiles with attention to detail and pattern alignment.
Understanding of adhesives, grouts, sealants, and relevant tools, with a focus on safety and proper usage.
Ability to read plans and drawings, measure accurately, and calculate material requirements.
Reliable work ethic, effective communication skills, and ability to work both independently and within a team in office.
Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in tiling or wall and floor tiling; prior experience in commercial or residential projects is highly regarded.
