Our client is a quick-growing, multi-channel business — wholesale, retail and e-commerce — with a genuinely loved product and an ambitious international growth trajectory, including active expansion into Europe and the US. They're investing in their supply chain function to match that growth, and this newly created role sits at the centre of it.
This is a hands-on, high-impact position reporting directly to the Chief Merchandise and Strategy Officer. You'll own the end-to-end Supply Chain Improvement Roadmap — freight, fulfilment, inventory deployment, 3PL performance, systems and S&OP; — and be the one translating complex analysis into commercial recommendations the Executive Team actually acts on.
What you'll get stuck into:
Lead the market transition from distributor to agent model, standing up EU 3PL capability for B2B for the first time
Overhaul freight tiers, shipping thresholds and free-freight structures across wholesale and e-commerce
Rethink inventory positioning — local vs offshore — to unlock productivity and service gains
Review and renegotiate 3PL/logistics partnerships, starting with the US network
Own the monthly S&OP; process end-to-end, chairing the cross-functional forum
Bring AI and advanced analytics into forecasting, scenario modelling and network optimisation
You'll bring:
Proven experience improving or transforming supply chains, not just running them
Robust commercial and analytical chops — you're as comfortable in the data as you are in the boardroom
3PL/logistics partner management and negotiation experience
S&OP; or business planning exposure
A bias for getting into the detail and challenging the status quo
Multi-channel/wholesale/retail experience and international (especially US) logistics exposure highly regarded
