About the Role – CHPP Supervisor
Reporting to the CHPP Superintendent, the CHPP Supervisor is accountable for the safe coordination of all coal-processing activities within the CHPP for their shift in accordance with safety and compliance targets, budget tonnes and quality objectives.
What You’ll Do
Provide day-to-day operational direction to achieve required targets.
Ensure that operators receive proper instruction and training in secure processing practices.
Lead a team environment and coordinate coal preparation activities in a cost-effective and efficient manner
Cost reduction activities / initiatives.
Assist in managing contracts within the CHPP area.
What You’ll Bring
Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture.
Tertiary Mechanical or Electrical Trade Certificate (as relevant).
Minimum of five (5) years in the mining or heavy industry or processing plant with robust working knowledge of Maintenance, Planning and CMMS.
Current Unencumbered Current South Wales “C” Class Drivers Licence.
