Norford Solid Surface is looking for reliable people to join our Sydney workshop team.

We fabricate custom solid-surface products for commercial and residential projects, including benchtops, vanities, wall linings and bespoke joinery items. This is not metal fabrication and is not engineered-stone work.

We are open to applicants at all levels - from a practical, reliable person keen to learn the trade through to an experienced solid-surface fabricator or installer who can work independently.

We work with silica-free solid-surface materials, including Corian, Staron and HI-MACS. The role may particularly suit an experienced stonemason or benchtop fabricator looking to move into specialist solid-surface work in a cleaner, less harsh workshop environment.

What you’ll be doing
Fabricating solid surface including Corian, Staron, HI-MACS and similar materials
Cutting, routing, bonding/seaming, sanding and finishing work to a high standard
Reading drawings and producing custom work accurately
Using workshop machinery and hand tools safely
Assisting with delivery and installation where required
Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe

We’d like to hear from you if you are:
Experienced in solid-surface fabrication or installation; or
A cabinetmaker, joiner,



CNC operator or hands-on factory worker wanting to learn a specialist trade; or
Reliable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented and take pride in a quality finish.
Experience with Corian, Staron, HI-MACS, thermoforming, CNC, drawings, site measuring or installation is highly regarded, but we will train the right entry-level person.

What we offer
Permanent full-time role, 38 hours per week, with overtime as required
Early Friday finish at 1:00pm
Pay matched to demonstrated experience and capability
Trainee / entry level: from $32–$35 per hour + super
Experienced fabricator / installer: $38–$45 per hour + super

Discretionary performance/profit-share bonuses may be paid in robust trading periods.
