Must Have Skills: 5+ years of experience in DNS
operations/support, with at least 2–3 years at L3 level Robust hands‐on
experience with BIND (open‐source DNS)Deep understanding of:· DNS protocol internals· Authoritative vs Recursive DNS· TTL, caching behavior, and query resolution flowStrong Linux/Unix system administration experienceStrong networking fundamentals:· TCP/IP, UDP· Latency and routing behavior Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Anycast DNS
deployments Exposure to other DNS software: Unbound,
PowerDNS, Knot DNS Automation and scripting (Shell, Python,
Ansible) Monitoring tools:Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios,
Zabbix ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change
