The Role

This role combines technical engineering expertise with sales and business development, working closely with customers to understand their applications, identify opportunities and develop fit-for-purpose solutions.

Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining relationships with key customers across WA
Identifying current business opportunities and growing existing accounts
Providing technical and application support across hydraulic and fluid-power solutions
Understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate solutions
Supporting product selection, system design and technical proposals
Preparing quotations and commercial proposals
Working closely with OEMs, EPCs, distributors and end users
Providing technical presentations and customer support




Assisting with troubleshooting and application-related issues
Managing opportunities through the sales cycle
Collaborating with internal engineering, product and service teams

About You:
An engineering qualification in Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related discipline
Knowledge of hydraulics and/or fluid power systems is a plus
Experience in technical sales, application engineering or a similar customer-facing engineering role
Experience within mining, heavy industry, mobile equipment or OEM environments
Robust technical problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Commercial awareness and an ability to identify recent opportunities
The ability to work autonomously and manage customer relationships
A willingness to travel across WA when required
