policies and clinical guidelinesCompleting clinical observations and monitoring residents' health and wellbeingRecognising changes in a resident's condition and promptly escalating concerns to the Registered NurseAssisting with clinical procedures, including wound care, pressure injury management and blood glucose monitoring, within your scope of practiceSupporting residents with their activities of daily living and promoting their dignity, independence and choiceProviding guidance and support to Personal Care Workers as requiredCommunicating effectively with residents, families, Registered Nurses, GPs, allied health professionals and other members of the care teamMaintaining accurate clinical documentation, progress notes and resident recordsFollowing infection prevention and control procedures, clinical policies, workplace health and safety requirements and relevant professional standardsAbout YouTo be successful in this role, you will have:Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled NursePrevious residential aged care experience is highly desirableStrong clinical observation and documentation skillsSound knowledge of medication management and safe clinical practice within your scope of practiceExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsA compassionate, respectful and person-centred approach to resident careThe ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary teamA strong commitment to resident safety, quality care and clinical governanceFlexibility and availability to work casual shifts as required.Our ValuesOur values guide the way we care for our residents and support each other:Compassion | Integrity | Dignity | Diversity | Accountability | Family | RespectThese values are at the heart of everything we do.Apply now to become part of the MACG team.
