PURPOSE OF THE ROLE As a member of the global software development team, this role will be to enhance, maintain and support the Company's in-house electronic trading system.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: To enhance, maintain and support the in-house trading platform Collaborate and engage with fellow team members including Traders, Quants and Infrastructure personnel Contribute to system architecture decisions to ensure low-latency/scalable/efficient/reliable solutions PERSON SPECIFICATION: Essential Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and equivalent work experience.




Skills Strong demonstrable skills and track record in programming C++ Solid demonstrable skills and track record in developing on a Linux/gcc platform Experience with profiling/optimising software algorithms Experience with network programming, multithreaded programming, inter-process communications Experience with distributed architecture systems Attributes Team-player, with a personable and friendly approach Strong problem solving skills with a keen eye for details Self-motivated and creative, with a drive to deliver high-quality code Ability to deliver on time Desirable Financial experience: market feeds and order execution API's, derivatives trading Software programming experience in C and Python Messaging middleware experience Specialist in low latency solutions
