We are currently seeking experienced Painter Blasters to join a major defence infrastructure program based at Garden Island, Sydney.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term, stable work on a major defence project with a strong pipeline of work.
About the RoleYou will be responsible for abrasive blasting, surface preparation and protective coating applications across marine and defence infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
Abrasive blasting and surface preparation
Painting and application of protective coatings
Painting steel structures and infrastructure
Ensuring surfaces are prepared to required specifications
Operating blasting and painting equipment safely
Completing quality checks and maintaining high workmanship standards
Following all WHS, environmental and site procedures
About YouTo be successful, you will have:
Previous experience as a Painter Blaster / Industrial Painter
Robust abrasive blasting and surface preparation skills
Experience working on industrial, marine, defence or infrastructure projects
Ability to work safely within a team environment
Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality
Relevant trade qualifications or industry experience
Current tickets/licences relevant to the role will be highly regarded
