We are seeking a dedicated, hardworking Maintenance Worker to join our Facilities team. This is a excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and values being part of a supportive team. You will play a key role in ensuring our school facilities are safe and attractive, with a wide variety of tasks to keep your workday interesting.

Salary: $65,488 per annum super and leave loading | Working Hours: Mon-Fri 7.00am - 3.00pm

Duties and Requirements

Grounds and gardening duties, for the purpose of ensuring protected and attractive grounds, including:
Lawn mowing of 30 acres using commercial lawn mowing equipment
Brush cutting, edging, weeding and other grass / grounds maintenance
Trimming of trees, shrubs and hedges using equipment such as chainsaw, pole pruner etc.
Landscaping duties including spreading rock, mulch etc.
Experience with zero turn lawn mowers is preferable

General maintenance and labouring tasks including:




Tasks involving moving furniture, setup and breakdown of events
Rubbish collection and waste management
Minor repairs and maintenance of grounds and facilities
Maintenance of job related tools and equipment

Skills and Experience
Current driver's licence
Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks
Ability to work independently and proactively in a busy setting
An understanding of and commitment to the Anglican Christian ethos of the School
