This is a senior leadership and delivery role for an accomplished commercial and disputes lawyer who enjoys solving complex problems, managing high-quality work and developing talented lawyers. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional legal services, managing matters and working closely with the firm's partners and broader legal team.

Key responsibilities

Lead and oversee a broad range of commercial matters
n
Provide strategic and commercially practical advice to established businesses and business owners
n
Draft, review and negotiate complex commercial agreements
n
Supervise, mentor and support lawyers within the team
n
Manage workflows and maintain consistently high standards of service
n
Work closely with the firm's partners on complex and significant matters
n
Help strengthen the team's technical capability, systems and processes
n
Build trusted, long-term relationships with existing clients
n
Contribute to the continued growth and development of the firm

About you

Highly experienced commercial lawyer with the technical ability, commercial judgment and leadership qualities expected at partner level
n
Significant experience in commercial and corporate law
n
Strong drafting, negotiation and advisory skills
n
Experience managing complex matters with a high degree of autonomy
n
The ability to supervise, mentor and develop other lawyers
n
A practical and solutions-focused approach
n
Robust communication and client relationship skills
n
Excellent judgment, attention to detail and commercial awareness
n
A cooperative leadership style and genuine commitment to team success
