You'll be working across evening services at Baah Lah Dining, a neighbourhood restaurant in Geelong West serving Southeast Asian-inspired food in a relaxed, casual and energetic dining environment, helping to create a warm, relaxed and professional experience for guests.
Key responsibilities
Welcoming and seating guests
Taking food and beverage orders
Providing friendly and attentive table service
Explaining menu items and assisting guests with selections
Serving food, wine, beer and other beverages
Clearing and resetting tables
Processing payments and using the POS system
Assisting with opening and closing duties
Maintaining a clean and organised dining area
Working closely with the kitchen and other front-of-house team members
About you
Friendly, confident and comfortable speaking with guests
Reliable, punctual and well presented
Able to work efficiently in a busy restaurant workplace
A solid team player with a positive attitude
Comfortable taking initiative during service
Passionate about food, hospitality and providing excellent customer service
Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality service is preferred
Familiar with food and beverage service; wine and basic bar knowledge is an advantage
Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
Appropriate Australian working rights for the position
