What You'll Bring
Minimum
Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Community Services, or a related field
Current
unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence
Relevant probity clearances or willingness to obtain them
Strong communication skills, empathy, resilience, and a solutions-focused approach
Availability to work across a 24/7 roster, including
weekends, overnight shifts, and public holidays
The ability to commit to a minimum of four passive (sleepover) shifts per fortnight
What You'll Be Doing




Supporting young people with daily routines, personal care, and community activities
Building positive relationships based on trust, consistency, and respect
Creating safe, structured, and therapeutic environments
Responding calmly and effectively to challenging situations and behaviours
Working collaboratively to implement individualised care plans
Encouraging participation in hobbies, interests, cultural connections, and community engagement
Administering medication in line with policies and individual support plans
Completing accurate case notes, incident reports, and handovers
