We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team based in Hoppers Crossing. This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified and experienced mechanic who is confident working on heavy commercial vehicles and enjoys diagnosing, servicing and maintaining a modern truck fleet.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repairs of heavy vehicles, including:
Mercedes-Benz Actros
Sinotruk SITRAK
General heavy vehicle mechanical repairs and maintenance
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Preventative servicing and inspections
Carrying out repairs efficiently and to a high standard
Ensuring vehicles are maintained to a secure and reliable standard

About You We're looking for someone who is experienced, reliable and confident working independently.

Essential




Minimum 5 years' experience as a Diesel Mechanic
Strong heavy vehicle mechanical experience
Experience working on Mercedes Actros and/or Sinotruk SITRAK highly regarded
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good attention to detail and commitment to safety
Relevant mechanical qualifications and licences
