About the role
Work with
academic and professional colleagues to provide effective and efficient administrative support for the School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality administrative support across the School of Nursing and Midwifery, ensuring efficient daily operations.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and manage meeting communications and follow-up actions.
Maintain accurate records, databases and spreadsheets, while collating data and preparing professional reports and correspondence.
Deliver exceptional customer service, providing timely and professional support to students and key stakeholders.
Manage and maintain internal databases, registers and administrative systems to support School operations.
Support the implementation and administration of School policies, procedures, guidelines and forms in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Build strong relationships across the School, University and external partners to promote collaboration, compliance and effective service delivery.
Qualifications, skills & experience




Completion of a diploma level qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or
education/training.
Demonstrated administrative experience, preferably in tertiary or other education sectors.
Demonstrated competency in various software packages including the Microsoft Office Suite
(Word, Excel, Visio), Adobe, In-Design, and timetabling programs (Allocate, Sonya).
Highly developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Ability to exercise initiative and judgment as appropriate, and work in a flexible and dynamic
environment with competing priorities to meet deadlines.
Ability to collaborate across multifunctional teams, providing a high level and responsive service.
Proven
record of preparing
high quality
documentation with excellent accuracy and attention to
detail.
