We are currently seeking Aged Care Workers for morning,
afternoon and night shifts.
About the Role
As an Aged Care Worker, you will play a vital role in
supporting the health, wellbeing and independence of our residents through the
delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
Working collaboratively with our nursing and care team, you
will assist residents with daily living activities, personal care and mobility
while promoting dignity, respect and individual choice.
You will help create a
positive resident experience by delivering compassionate care that enhances
residents' physical, emotional, social and spiritual wellbeing.
Our employees are employed under the St Basil's NSW/ACT
Enterprise Agreement ****, with Aged Care Workers classified as Personal Care
Worker Level 3, earning up to $***** base per hour (depending on
qualifications and experience).
About You
You are passionate about improving the lives of older people
and understand the importance of delivering care that is respectful,
compassionate and person-centred.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate
III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Aged Care
Current
First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain through our
training)
Minimum
12 months' experience working in a residential aged care environment
Solid
verbal and written communication skills
Ability




to provide high-quality personal care and exceptional customer service
Understanding
of the needs of people living with dementia
A
respectful approach that supports residents to make their own choices
Ability
to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also working
independently
Australian
