About the RoleWe are currently seekingDisability Support Workersto support a participant on theGold Coast.
The participant requires support from someone who is patient, respectful and considerate of her religious and cultural beliefs.
Thisposition is for day, afternoon, sleepovers and active night staff, meaning you will remain awake for the duration of the shift while providing ongoing support, monitoring and assistance as required.
We're looking for someone who is:

Comfortable working independently overnight

observant and able to respond to changing support needs
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide active overnight support and monitoring throughout the shift
Assist with personal care and overnight routines as required
Respond promptly to participant needs during the night
Maintain a safe, calm and supportive environment
Complete accurate documentation and detailed handover notes
Report any incidents or concerns in line with company procedures
RequirementsPrevious disability support experience (active night experience highly regarded)
Qualification in Disability, Individual Support or Community Services (preferred)
Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Yellow Card)
Current National Police Check
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Current driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred)

Pay:In accordance with the SCHADS Award and based on experience and qualifications.
