About the role

Market St. Kitchen, located in the heart of Mudgee, NSW, is seeking a skilled and motivated Cook to join our team on a full time, permanent basis. We are known for our contemporary Australian menu and strong focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in line with Market St. Kitchen's standards
Assist in menu planning, including accommodating dietary requirements such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options
Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented to a high standard
Maintain a clean and protected kitchen environment in compliance with food safety regulations
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and inventory control
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations
Support and contribute to continuous improvement of menu offerings

About you




Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher
Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
Ability to stand for long periods and work in a physically demanding role
Ability to work efficiently under pressure
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Excellent time management and organisational skills
Good communication and teamwork skills
Strong commitment to food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction
