Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage civil engineering activities across mining and heavy industrial projects.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to civil engineering teams.
Coordinate civil engineering deliverables with structural, mechanical, electrical and other disciplines.
Manage multidisciplinary interfaces and resolve technical and design issues.
Review and oversee civil designs, drawings, specifications and engineering documentation.
Support project planning, engineering coordination and delivery.
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level civil engineers.
Ensure engineering solutions meet project requirements, quality standards and applicable Australian standards.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
Contribute to project schedules, technical reviews and engineering deliverables.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience.
Proven experience working at Senior Civil Engineer or Civil Lead level.
Strong experience in mining,
minerals processing, resources or heavy industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering design and project delivery.
Proficiency in:
Civil 3D
OpenRoads
Navisworks
Robust multidisciplinary coordination and cross-discipline interface experience.
Proven ability to lead, mentor and manage engineering teams.
Strong project coordination and engineering delivery skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Chartered / Qualified Engineer registration, or eligibility for professional registration, is highly desirable.
Solid understanding of Australian engineering practices, standards and project requirements.
