Whitefriars College is a Catholic boys' school in the Carmelite tradition. We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and highly organisedVCE & VET Coordinator, commencing at the start of Term 1, ****.
The VCE & VET Coordinator is a qualified teacher responsible for the effective coordination and administration of the College's VCE and VET programs. Working under the guidance of the Director of Senior Years, the Coordinator provides advice to students, families and staff and liaises with VCAA, VET providers and other relevant organisations to ensure senior secondary pathways are delivered effectively and in accordance with relevant requirements.
The role encompasses VCE enrolments, subject changes, assessment and examination requirements, Special Provision and VCAA compliance, as well as the administration, attendance, assessment and completion of VET programs. The Coordinator also supports students and families with subject selection, pathways and senior secondary planning, working collaboratively with relevant College teams.
The successful applicant will have current VIT registration, relevant teaching qualifications and demonstrated experience teaching VCE subjects,



together with a sound understanding of VCAA requirements and VCE administration. Experience with VASS and knowledge or experience in VET administration will be highly regarded.
This is a full-time, ongoing teaching position with a 3-year Position of Leadership contract.
It is expected of all employed at Whitefriars College that they accept and support the ethos of the Carmelite order, and activities directed at the broader aims of the College (eg the Carmelite mission in Timor-Leste).
