St Michael's Primary School is situated in Traralgon located 2 hours from Melbourne's CBD on the M1 and 2 hours to the lakes region along the south coast of Victoria. St Michael's Primary School is an inclusive, inviting and team orientated workplace. The current enrolment is 458 students from Foundation to Grade 6. A comprehensive Specialist program includes, LOTE, Digital Technologies, Sport, STEM and an inspiring Visual Arts Program. Our classrooms provide the latest resources and IT infrastructure. As an educator you will have a buddy for collaboration and a Team Leader to support the year level experience. The Foundation classes are peer groupings with remaining year levels of composite configuration. Open learning spaces provide intuitive teaching and pedagogy practice, providing the best learning outcomes for our students.

Salary & Employment
The Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement is currently being negotiated and will deliver salary parity with the forthcoming Victorian Government Schools Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA), together with competitive employment conditions.
Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting student progress in key learning areas
Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.

Essential Knowledge and Experience:
VIT registration
Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is an advantage.
Exemplary teaching practice with proven classroom management practice
Comprehensive knowledge of current educational needs and achievement standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including team building and mentoring skills.
