We are seeking to appoint an Educational Services Teacher (Learning Enhancement) for a 3-term maternity leave cover, commencing Term 1, ****. This role is 4 days per week, with Thursday and Friday being mandatory working days. The position supports students in Years 7–12 through assessment-informed, evidence-based intervention and works in partnership with teachers and families to strengthen inclusive practice, with a particular focus on literacy and numeracy.
A little bit about the role:
Working with students whose needs require support beyond classroom differentiation, you will use assessment and data to plan and deliver targeted intervention and to guide reasonable adjustments in collaboration with teachers and families.
Administer and interpret diagnostic/standardised assessments to identify needs and monitor progress
Deliver evidence-based small-group and individual intervention, with a focus on literacy and numeracy
Support teachers to implement adjustments and inclusive strategies across the curriculum
To be successful, you will:
Hold relevant qualifications and/or significant experience in special education, learning support, or inclusive education
Demonstrate success delivering evidence-based learning support, particularly in literacy and numeracy
Be able to administer, interpret and use standardised and diagnostic assessments to plan and evaluate targeted teaching
Work collaboratively to implement individual learning plans and reasonable adjustments, and communicate progress clearly
