Uplift Recruitment is partnering with a well-established building products business to appoint an Account Manager/ BDM to manage territory in Melbourne.

This is an chance for a commercially minded sales skilled who understands the construction industry and wants a role combining established account management, relationship development and genuine new business growth.

You’ll inherit a strong existing customer base while having the autonomy to identify current opportunities, develop relationships and grow your territory.

The Role will Include:
Managing and growing a large established portfolio
Building strong relationships with builders, contractors and key construction stakeholders
Identifying and converting new business opportunities across the territory
Growing revenue within existing accounts through proactive account management
Responding to inbound opportunities generated through head office and the company website
Developing project opportunities and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline
Working closely with internal teams to ensure customers receive a high level of service
Managing commercial conversations around pricing, projects, timelines and customer requirements
Taking ownership of your territory and developing a transparent strategy for growth

$120,000–$130,000 base salary + super
