We’re looking for a motivated trainee stonemason to join our team. No previous stonemasonry experience is required—we're looking for someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll work alongside experienced Stonemason, developing practical skills while working on a variety of projects.

About the role

As a trainee stonemason, you’ll learn the skills required to work confidently and safely within the trade. Your day-to-day work will include:
Assisting experienced Stonemason and other tradesmen on site
Learning stone preparation, installation, repair and finishing techniques
Using hand and power tools safely
Preparing work areas, materials, and equipment
Measuring, cutting and handling materials
Maintaining a clean and secure work workplace
Developing your technical skills through practical, on-the-job training

About you

You don’t need previous experience in stonemasonry.



We’re more interested in finding someone who:
Experience with hands-on work
Is reliable and turns up ready to work
Is physically capable and comfortable working in a construction environment
Takes pride in doing a job properly
Is willing to listen, learn and take direction
Works well as part of a team
Has good attention to detail
Understands the importance of workplace safety

A current driver’s licence and White Card are a minimum requirement.
