The Strand Hotel Yeppoon is looking for a recent Assistant Venue Manager to join the management team as we get ready for another amazing Summer in Yeppoon.

The successful candidate must have proven hospitality management experience in a comparable venue and exceptional customer service and presentation skills.

Essential requirements:
2+ years in a management role in a similar venue
Experience working in a gaming venue




Strong Food & Beverage knowledge
Understanding and ability to learn venue reporting and systems on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
Presence on the floor during peak service periods, including late nights and weekends
Ability to stocktake and investigate the stock loss
Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
Work with and communicate effectively within a team
Experience with H&L;, Ivy & Seven rooms desirable
RLMV & Approved Managers License
