This role leads TSRA’s Travel Team which is critical to enabling TSRA’s programs and stakeholders to deliver against their objectives by providing timely, accurate and quality travel administration services.

The Travel Team Leader leads a small team, responsible for supporting TSRA employees, Board Members and approved guest travellers in their official domestic and overseas travel requirements. This role works with the Travel Officers to arrange travel in accordance with TSRA’s travel policies and procedures.

The Travel Team Leader is accountable for managing travel requests that involve complexity, including large group bookings and organising Board Member travel under relevant Remuneration Tribunal provisions.

Under general direction, the incumbent will liaise with external travel providers, administer requests for travel services, respond to requests for information and provide travel information support to TSRA travellers.

As a key member of a small team, the role requires interaction across all TSRA’s Program areas.

The Travel Team Leader has duties that include,



but are not limited to the following activities:
Lead, train, monitor and guide TSRA’s Travel Team in accordance with expected behaviors and values.
Use TSRA’s travel and expense management system (expense8) and TSRA’s travel booking platform (CTM) to arrange travel bookings, calculate travel allowances and seek appropriate approvals.
Manage the acquittal of all travel credit cards in line with the current credit card policy.
Provide appropriate guidance to TSRA travellers on policy and procedural matters relevant to TSRA’s Travel Policies and Procedures and Whole Government Procurement (WoAG) Arrangements.
Monitor travel requests, ensuring TSRA is complying with relevant government legislation and policy.
