Role Description The Restoration Technician is a full time, in office role based in Brisbane, QLD. This role is responsible for assessing and responding to water damage and other restoration needs in residential and commercial properties. Day-to-day tasks include performing water extraction and drying, completing mitigation work, handling affected materials, and assisting with remediation related to invasive species as needed.

The technician will document work performed, follow safety and industry standards, and communicate clearly with clients, teammates, and supervisors.



The role involves working in the field, operating restoration equipment, and supporting the timely and effective completion of restoration projects.

Qualifications
Solid technical skills in water damage and water damage restoration, including assessment, extraction, and drying.
Experience with mitigation practices and procedures to minimise damage and restore affected areas efficiently.
Knowledge of issues related to invasive species in built environments and appropriate remediation practices.
Transparent and professional communication skills for interacting with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
Ability to work on-site in varied conditions, including lifting equipment and performing manual tasks safely.
Attention to detail in documentation, job reporting, and adherence to safety and industry standards.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transport; willingness to travel to job sites across Southeast Queensland.
Previous experience in restoration, construction, or related trades is beneficial; relevant industry certifications are an advantage.
