Dardanup Tavern is seeking a motivated 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Chef to join our kitchen team.

This is an excellent chance for an apprentice who wants to continue developing their skills in a busy, established hospitality venue while gaining broad hands-on experience across a varied pub-style menu.

About the role

Working alongside the kitchen team at Dardanup Tavern, you will be involved in the preparation and service of a diverse pub-style menu while continuing to develop the practical skills required to complete your apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities
Preparing and cooking menu items to a consistent standard
Assisting with food preparation, portioning and presentation
Working across different sections of the kitchen
Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness
Assisting with stock rotation, storage and general kitchen organisation
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Continuing to develop your skills under the guidance of experienced kitchen staff

About you
Currently a 2nd Year Apprentice Chef or above




Has a genuine interest in cooking and hospitality
Reliable, punctual and motivated
Works well as part of a team
Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Can work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Takes pride in the quality and presentation of their work
Available to work a hospitality roster, including evenings and weekends
