Description

RMC Track & Civil, backed by Railtrain Holdings Group and part of the Genus Group, is seeking a Protection Officer to join our growing Queensland operations.

As a Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of workers accessing the rail corridor and danger zone. Working closely with Network Control, project teams and key stakeholders, you'll be responsible for implementing and managing rail protection arrangements in accordance with network rules, procedures and legislative requirements.
Requirements

You'll be a trusted safety leader on site, providing expert guidance, coordinating work activities and fostering a solid safety culture across a range of rail infrastructure and maintenance projects.





Duties can include:
Implement and manage rail protection arrangements in line with network rules and procedures
Complete Safeworking documentation and access authority requirements before works commence
Conduct site safety assessments and establish appropriate protection methods
Liaise with Network Control Officers and stakeholders to plan and coordinate work activities
Lead pre-work briefings and ensure all personnel understand site risks, hazards, and protection measures
