Primary Objective: This role will work as part of the diphtheria outbreak response to coordinate and deliver vaccination services to patients of Central Australian Aboriginal Congress and liaise with relevant stakeholders including Centre for Disease Control, Aboriginal Medical Services Alliance Northern Territory, Tangentyere and the National Critical Care and Trauma Response Centre. Other actions include working alongside clinical staff in primary health vaccination clinics and in outreach vaccination drives; systematic review of vaccination status of patients for recall and catch-up and work to improve vaccination systems and reporting. Nurse immuniser qualifications or a willingness to obtain is required.
Occasional remote travel will be required.
