The Role
Baler PS is initially looking for a Year 3-4 Teacher to join their friendly team. The successful applicant will ideally possess innovative, enthusiastic teaching practices with knowledge, skills, experience and flexibility teaching Kindergarten to Year 6.
We are looking for a teacher who is ideally passionate, motivated and a skilled educator, who is committed to improving literacy and numeracy outcomes for every child, every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching and instructional strategies.
It is highly desirable that the successful applicant is committed to developing positive relationships with students, parents, staff and the wider community.



A strong capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs using an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum is highly valued as is experience with explicit and direct instruction.
We are seeking someone who is innovative and possesses high quality teaching skills and knowledge. They will ideally be committed to ongoing professional growth and development, support current whole school processes and be collegial, effective collaborators.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south westteachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South WestEducation Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment,



with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
