The Role

Newkey Consulting is partnering with a leading principal contractor delivering a major utilities infrastructure upgrade on the Central Coast, NSW.
n
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Mechanical Site Engineer for a permanent position.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Provide on-site Mechanical engineering support to project delivery teams
n
n
Support planning, site coordination, and daily construction activities
n
n
Monitor quality assurance and compliance requirements
n
Support subcontractor management and contribute to safety, environmental and quality outcomes
n
n
About You
n
You are a motivated engineering professional looking to contribute to a major infrastructure project and develop your career within a supportive and high-performing team.
n
You will bring:
n
n
n
Degree qualification in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
n
n
1–2+ years' post-graduate engineering experience, ideally within construction, infrastructure or a project environment
n
n




Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
n
Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
n
n
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
n
n
Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
n
n
Highly regarded:
n
n
n
Previous site-based engineering experience
n
n
Experience working on water or wastewater infrastructure works
n
n
Exposure to mechanical installation, piping, pumps or process equipment
n
n
