About the Role
n
We are seeking an experienced Welder/ Metal Fabricator (Heavy Vehicles) to join our team in Wagga Wagga. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in the fabrication and assembly of our high-quality trailers.
What you'll be doing: n
n
Welding and fabricating components for specialised Livestock and Bulk Cargo Transport Equipment
n
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
n
Operating a variety of metalworking equipment, including MIG and TIG welding machines, grinders, and cutting tools
n
Preparing and finishing metal components to a high standard
n
Collaborating with the production team to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects
n
Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
n
What we're looking for: n
n
Extensive experience as a welder and metal fabricator,
ideally within the heavy vehicle industry
n
Robust understanding of welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding
n
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
n
Proficient in the use of metalworking equipment and tools
n
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
n
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
n
Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication or equivalent qualification
n
