Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers, designers, testers
n
Understand user workflows and define user requirements by testing and analysis of software functions, user interfaces, and GIS methods and practices
n
Test software to ensure both development goals and real-world usage scenarios are met
n

Requirements
n

Experience with software project planning and design
n
Familiarity with software testing automation tooling
n
Applicants must have a keen interest in the collection of new data and verification of existing GIS data with field work
n




Background with with mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
n
Experience with Esri's ArcGIS product suite
n
Ability to work closely with the team and adjust to changes in a constantly evolving environment
n
Effective time management and organizational skills
n
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
A current 3rd or 4th year Bachelor or Graduate student in computer science, GIS, engineering, mathematics, or related field
n
Must have Australian citizenship or permanent residency
n

Recommended Qualifications

Basic scripting or programming experience to support testing, workflows, or automation
