Reporting to the Forming Service Manager, the Job Change Operators will optimise the Job Change performance by performing tasks in the Hot End, Cold End and Quality Assurance.
The Role n
Reporting to the Forming Service Manager, the Job Change Operators will optimise the Job Change performance by performing tasks in the Hot End, Cold End and Quality Assurance.
Key Responsibilities n
n
Participating in all activities on job change in Hot End, Cold End and Audit as required
n
Developing sound technical skills in setup and settle down across Hot End IS machine and Cold End inspection machines & Palletiser
n
Ensuring high performance on lines by fixing defects, checking sets, follow up and remove CID's, tuning inspection and timely feedback of issues to the coordinators
n
Actively participating in the Job Change
development/improvement
process
n
Ensuring quality standards are met by checking ware and signing quality documentation on Job Change
n




Contributing to the QA setup prior to Job Change, including quality gauges, specifications, and poly sprays
n
Assist in writing and updating SOP's and maintaining job change databases
n
Follow all safety and environmental protocols
n
Working closely with Hot End, cold End and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth production flow
n
About You n

Have experience working in a glass manufacturing role
n
Have previous experience working within a hot and noisy environment
n
Demonstrate high levels of mechanical aptitude and quality understanding
n
Posses strong problem-solving skills, along with interpersonal skills with a high level of safety focus
n
Be able to work in a team-oriented team setting and show initiative
n
