Adelaide's Finest is looking for an accomplished Senior Baker to join our nationally award-winning bakery team at Pasadena. Working closely with our Head Baker, you will take a hands‐on role in leading daily production, developing our people and creating exceptional products that thousands of customers enjoy every week.

The opportunity
n
As Senior Baker, you will:
n
Lead and coordinate daily bakery production to achieve quality and production targets.
n
Set the standard for product quality, consistency and presentation.
n
Guide, mentor and develop bakers and apprentice bakers.
n
Support production planning, workflow and operational efficiency.
n
Collaborate with the Head Baker on new products, seasonal ranges and recipe development.
n
Monitor ingredients, stock levels and ordering to maintain production continuity.
n
Help control waste, labour and ingredient utilisation.
n
Ensure food safety, allergen, hygiene, HACCP and WHS requirements are consistently met.
n
Champion continuous improvement across products, processes and team performance.
n
About you
n
You are a skilled baker and confident leader who takes pride in your craft.



You enjoy being on the tools, supporting your team and finding better ways to deliver outstanding products.
n
You will bring:
n
A recognised baking trade qualification.
n
At least five years' experience in a senior, supervisory or bakery leadership role.
n
Strong commercial bread, pastry and bakery production experience.
n
Sound knowledge of artisan techniques, dough management and fermentation.
n
Experience leading production planning and managing workflow in a busy environment.
n
The ability to train, mentor and motivate bakery team members.
n
A strong understanding of food safety, allergen management and quality control.
n
Excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
n
Commercial awareness across labour, ingredients, waste and productivity.
n
Experience in recipe development, product costing and high-volume retail or wholesale bakery production will be highly regarded.
